Welcome to my first post.
This is the daily Tarot draw, the Eight of Swords. A fitting card for today, as my thoughts have been on the ways that many of us tend to limit ourselves, or hold ourselves back from receiving everything that life has to offer. As I look over my own life in the past few years I often see in retrospect, the times that opportunities were present, but I was not. I was blind to them. Caught up in my daily struggle and focused so keenly on achieving a specific goal that I didn't realize what I was looking for lay right before me.
Offered up by the universe for the taking, exactly as I had requested.
These days I'm focusing my attention keenly on discovering those opportunities when they arise. Training my mind to recognize them for what they are. It takes practice if you've been conditioned by yourself (or others) to dismiss these opportunities as I have.
Take a look at your own life today. Are there things you are lacking? What exactly is stopping you from achieving them? Is it truly due to circumstances out of your control? Or could it be possible to take a moment, wiggle one arm free and remove the blindfold?
Look around carefully and you may discover that you are actually free. That everything you desire could be achieved in time if you would only allow yourself to work towards it.
Maybe there is a possibility you have overlooked, or a simple way out of a predicament that you are not seeing?
